Hi guys i was ask by my brother to tried and fix his laptop so here the situation the laptop do sent turn on well kinda see the laptop turn on for one sec and then shut off what is displayed for the one sec is a backslid black screen now i suspect that the laptop mobo or the cpu is dead what do you guy think is the problem also if it cant be fix what can i scavenge from the dead laptop beside from the usual part (ram,hardrive,battery) like the screen webcam speaker disk drive is there anyway to make use of those part on a other pc 

the model of this sad laptop is a gateway m-2611h

What do you mean? I have a hard time understanding exactly what your problem is. But I'm going to assume that your computer will boot up to the point where windows is supposed to load and then it turns black. If so, I suspect that the hard drive is dead. Just replace the hard drive and reinstall windows on it. If that dissent help, I'm here. Ask.
