Hey guys,
So I have an HP Envy 17 and with some use it has gotten some scratches that have chipped off the paint job. Here are a few pictures:
I was wondering if there are any good ways of “filling” them and make it look new? I highly doubt that, as I’d have to replicate the paint job perfectly. If not that, will this just be a case of covering it with stickers or something? Thanks.
Maybe just find a paint closest to what you have on your pc? Use a small paint brush to paint over it. Probably won't be perfect but it will help. The black scratches stand out on that silver.
You could plasti dip the entire top. It would protect it from further damage.

So just to make sure, this would repaint the laptop of course, but it would also fill in the scratches?
The way that top looks you could coat it in something like plastidip and if the bottom is in good shape you could then buy a skin for the laptop to match the top so they whole thing would be reskinned. Just a thought.
Plasti Dip is kind of like a spray on vinyl wrap. It would be very easily removeable. As far as filling in, it can fill in light stuff but deeper ones would show through. I would suggest removing the lid to spray it.
Eh. Just get a Mac. That is how we solve problems, right?
Haha of course, thanks Apple. /sarcasm
