Hello I have a toshiba satellite l55t-a5290. I wiped the hard drive and installed windows 7 on the hard drive using my desktop. I installed the hard drive back into the laptop and it gives me no bootable device error. It boots up fine in my desktop though. The laptop originally came with windows 8 on it. The drive is shown in the bios. I believe I am missing the proper drivers to make the hard drive work properly? Any help getting this to boot would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You need to boot off of a USB to install. If you have a 4GB USB available, 8 would maybe be better because I dunno how big the windows image actually is (linux user), you can get the tool I will link you and beet that.
Alternatively, use linux. Ubuntu is a great leaping point.
