Laptop (Macbook Pro M4 Pro) / Desktop (RTX 4070 Super) Triple monitor KVM Options

I am looking to get a good KVM for switching between the two, 3x 2K/1440p monitors and mouse and keyboard. I would like a single usb C cable to the Macbook if possible. So far I am seeing one option on the market:

TESmart USB-C MST&EDID KVM Switch 3 Monitors 2 Computers HDMI+DisplayPort, 4K@60Hz KVM Switch Triple Monitor Dock for Laptop&Desktop, USB 3.0, Charging for Laptop, 1G Ethernet, Hotkey Switch

The Level1Techs version: Combo USB-C Power Delivery & DisplayPort 1.4 KVM - Triple Monitor
Doesn’t seem to support the full use case for me as you would need to use both displayport ports as well. Also as it is an M4 Pro w/ upgraded GPU I believe I need displaylink to be able to use a triple monitor setup.

The amount of confusion online about this topic is making it hard to follow what works and what doesn’t. Thank you for any help.

Correct, only two external monitors are supported natively. KVM with displaylink doesn’t exist afaik.

This would be messy, but displaylink TB hub into KVM?

Or alternatively, if the desktop has TB as well, thunderbolt KVM into displaylink hub?

Hard to say if these setups would work well, I don’t know if TB daisy chaining works well in such a case…

Otherwise just live with the limitation of dual monitor on the laptop, get some laptop stand and use it as the third monitor, or get an m4 max…
