Laptop for College

So this isn't really building a PC because earlier this year I built my self a nice gaming PC which has been great for school so far because we weren't allowed to use laptops in class, but now that I am going off to college I figured I will need a portable computer to bring to each class. I have a budget of $500-600, but I don't know where to start. I know I want a long battery life, about 6hrs, and a decent processor, probably Haswell since its much more power efficient and powerful relative to the Ivybridge processors. I don't really need a discrete graphics card because most of my games will be played on my desktop, but I don't know if I want/need an ultrabook or a regular laptop.

Any help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advanced.

I'm not too sure on where you expect to get a Haswell in a lappy for 5 or 6 hundred but I would personally go with the HP ChromeBook. It doesn't meet exactly what you were asking but I'll continue to look. (:

Alright, Sager is going to be about $120 more than what you were searching for but it should be a very very quality and fast laptop. http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_info&model_name=NP2240
