Laptop display inverter really hot

Hi, so I have a T460s, and I replaced its LCD with another 1080p panel, the panel works, looks nice etc, but I find the bottom part of the screen, gets really hot, and in one particular place, gets so hot, you will burn your self if you touch it for too long.

I was wondering if this is normal? the display is 100% work otherwise, and people on otehr forums say it should work in my laptop.

here’s the one I replaced it with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OIGA5Z2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Has the battery life of the laptop decreased? If the inverter is getting hot, the new panel may be using more power than the old one. Maybe if you turn down the screen brightness it may not get so hot. lower brightness = less power = less heat.

if I turn down brightness all the way it doesn't get hot.

the old panel never did this. but they're both 1080p panels, one IPS, the old one "IPS" (bullshit lenovo)
