Just a quick thought:
If you went 18+ only, you could sell any form of alcohol and show whatever you want.
I would love to, but when we were doing meetups in Germany we had many 15-18 year old members join us for beer. I would hate to exclude them.
Good news is there are many EU countries to pick from and every one of them is ridiculously easy to get to.

Okay, didn´t know we were so many teenagers.
If you are 16, you can buy beer in Germany. So you would only exclude the 15 year olds which is still pretty bad.
Thinking about this makes me sad...

Is Canada up for consideration? Toronto or Montreal would be great places. Drinking age is 19 in Ontario, Quebec is 18. I'd say both are within driving distance of the north eastern states. You also get the added bonus of dealing with Comcast North, AKA the duopoly of Bell and Rogers. Just a suggestion.

Well there might be people younger than 15 joining, so no beer for them. But for those who are over, yes no beer would be heresy.

I'm 15 currently, and in the UK, but by the time I can afford to travel to LANs I'd be able to drink haha. Maybe even a UK LAN...
Come to Finland. Everything is expensive and serving alcohol would be an absolute pain in the ass.
