Hi everyone,
So looking for some insight to LAN activity lights on a select Supermicro board (X8DTi-F). Having worked with and owned multiple supermicro boards this is the first time I have seen this.
Normally the LAN activity lights on the Front I/O normally stay solid and blink off when there is network activity. However on a recently acquired board they just sequence back and forth regardless of if there is network activity or not.
Anyway this is best explained in video than words.

The top system is the one affect, whilst the lower one is how it should be operating.
I had a look into the network controller firmware, but on Intel's website there are no updates for this particular controller (82576EB on the 5520 chipset).
So yea, not really an issue but I'd at least like it act the same way as the other 5 systems running Supermicro boards.
Thanks in advance
