Lagging Windows 10 GUI on multiple monitor setup

Asus WRX80 + 3975WX + 256 3200 RAM

Multiple SSDs (all built-in slots + 2 Asus hyper M.2 cards)

3060 Ti on last slots, 3x Quadro P620 (quad mDP output) on slots 3,4 and 5.

2 of the quadros bought in 2018, 1 bought recently and has slightly newer bios.

2 Quadros hooked up to 8 x Dell P2419H, and new quadro hookedup to LG 43UD79-B’s 4 HDMI inputs (using Startech mDP to HDMI cables)

Problems:

  • long time to boot (comparing to single monitor
    -long time to login after entering password (many spins on welcome screen)
    -long when right-click-> display settings
    -laggy (sometimes mouse moves like gets buffered then starts moving even after i stopped moving mouse)
    -messed up display arrangements and numbering on every boot.
    All displas (including LG quad inputs) are set to FHD 60Hz, no color profiles.

Am planning to run multiple VMs for my work, the 3060Ti is planned to be hooked to another LG 38" Gsync/Freesync monitor for gaming.

Was windows designed to run that much of monitors?

Am using latest NVIDIA drivers (one for RTX3060Ti) which also identifies the quadros.
What am i missing here ?

Looks like Windows uses only a single GPU to render all graphics, once I set the display hookedup to the 3060Ti to become primary, the experience becomes smoother. There is still a bit of lag though.

Trying Windows 11 gives a different experience altogether.

No issues here rendering 4x4k displays here with win 11, on a Threadripper 3945WX + NVIDIA A4000
