L1T KVM + USB Dac or Webcam + Windows 10 issue

:red_circle: [Webcam/DAC > KVM > Windows 10] Neither the Webcam nor the DAC are recognized when connected through the Level1Techs KVM to a Windows 10 device.
– I’ve tried multiple USB slots on both devices, and tried various HID and regular USB slots on the KVM
– I’ve tried restarting the laptops and power cycling the KVM

:green_circle: [Webcam/DAC > KVM > Windows 11] They both work when connected through the KVM to my Windows 11 machine

I also tried with a powered hub for SnG
:green_circle: [Webcam/DAC > Hub > Windows 10] They both work when connected through a powered hub to my Windows 10 machines

:green_circle: [Webcam/Dac > Hub > KVM > Windows 11] They both work connected through a powered hub, then the KVM, and finally to the Windows 11 machine

:red_circle: [Webcam/Dac > Hub > KVM > Windows 10] Doesn’t work going though both the hub and KVM.

Components:
KVM: Level1Tech’s 2-pc 3-display 5Gbit USB
Webcam: Logitech C920
DAC: Fiio E10K
Cables: All USB 3.0 rated

Systems:
1 PC - Windows 11
2 Laptops (different manufacturers) - Windows 10

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

You lock the ports to the other machine? Like does it switch any usb device when plugged in ?

We’re good now. Thanks.
