Nope its actually perfect for my g/f. she doesn't want or need 4g or a dual core and battery life isn't an issue. perfect in functionality, priced right and it is running froyo.
Battery life is an issue with this phone! It comes with 2 batteries.. The evo runs froyo and isnt dual core and you do have the 4g thing but even without 4g the echo is terribad. Id say go try it out first.. So far from what ive seen its a disappointment to me.
Lol, I'm just happy to have a phone with a touch screen and a full physical keyboard that slides out. I don't really need anything else. I'll leave all my internet usage to my computer thank you very much.

:) i think you mis understood me. Its perfect for what it will be used for.
I used one of these before and it was trash.
