KVM Model
- HDMI 2.1, Single Monitor, 4PC
- DP 1.4 Single Monitor, 2PC 10G
Problem
Looking for suggestions for the following setup:
- One Windows PC (4070 Super with DP, HDMI output)
- One Apple computer, either desktop or laptop.
- Display output is Thunderbolt 3/4/5, but I’m not opposed to connecting via DP or HDMI with an adapter
I listed the two KVM’s as my options since those are the most convenient for me (e.g. I don’t own any USB-B cables), but am open to other suggestions as well. The only strict requirement for me is I don’t need more than single monitor output.
Also wondering if the power adapter posted on the L1Techs KVM FAQ – Ultimate Guide & Help!
is up-to-date? Just wondering because I will be using this in a country with 240V rating.
Notes
Some other specifics:
- 3 peripherals: keyboard, mouse, webcam
- My headphones are connected to an amplifier which connects to my PCs via USB-C. Although I don’t mind swapping my headphones between PCs, wondering if there’s a way to connect that to a KVM instead.
Thanks!
