I have a M1 Max Macbook Pro for Work
I have an M3 Max Macbook Pro for Personal.
I have a 39" LG OLED Widescreen Monitor with HDMI or Displayport 1.4 that I want to be plugged into each laptop. Up to 240Hz.
Currently the monitor is plugged into a Cal Digit TB4 dock and I switch the thunderbolt cable from laptop to laptop when wanting to switch.
What is my best option for KVM Switch?
If I just go the USB-C route - the $340 option
I take it I can get 4K 90Hz? and some charging for the laptops?
If I go the Beefier route - the $620 option
- What is the difference of using USB-C with this option or the Displayport to USB-C Moshi cables?
- Does one give more benefit than the other?
Am I missing a different KVM that is not one of these that is recommended?
