KVM switch for 2 MacBook Pro (M1-Max and M4-Max) and Triple Monitors

Hey I’m a bit confuse if I should buy (1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Triple Monitor - Two Computer) KVM for the following setup.

  • MacBook Pro (M1 Max)
  • MacBook Pro (M4 Max)
  • 3 Dell 4K Monitors.

Can someone please suggest if the ( 1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Triple Monitor - Two Computer) switch with usb-c to display port cables will work.

Since you have 2x mac laptops, I would probably recommend getting our USBC KVM instead:

This KVM will charge your laptops as well as display and send USBs in 1 wire. Just be aware of how you should connect everything. In the diagram below, the MAC is connected via 1x USBC and 1x USBC to DisplayPort Moshi cable.

In your setup, you will need per MAC:

1x USBC to USBC (for the bottom port)
2x Moshi USBC to DisplayPort 1.4 cable (for the middle and top port)
