I am having issues with my usb peripherals not working properly or disconnecting while switching between the two computers I have plugged into the KVM.
I have both PC plugged in with USB-B wires to the back of the KVM to a USB-A port into the PCs.
I have a powered USB hub I want to connect so I can plug in a few more USB peripherals. Which USB port do I plug the the USB hub into for it to work optimally?

Some USB firmware does not like to be digitally disconnected and reconnected when used via the blue USB3 ports because they are “hard cutover.”
The fix for this is to use those devices in the USB-HID ports because they are “soft cutover” and will not sever the connection in the same way as the blue USB ports.
