KVM/PCI Passthrough setup questions

So I am thinking of using my machine for KVM, and use PCI passthrough for Windows.
So I am asking for one is my setup able to perform the passthrough and what distro maybe better for this?
So I am thinking either RHEL7.1, OpenSUSE or Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
The hardware is as follows.
i5 2500 3.3Ghz (VT-d enabled)
8GB 1600Mhz RAM
R9 290 4GB
G1 Sniper M3 motherboard.

So which distro is known for having best support for KVM?

Any of those will do, and the others too lol.
Kvm is not distro-dependent. To get the latest features, you would want a really recent kernel though, but you can also get that pretty much on every distro. Whatever you like best.
