Kvm hotkey locks up keyboard`

Im trying to switch hotkey leading code 1 from lctrl to rctl. or to turn off the leading code 1, if I use the code 1 nothing happens and it locks up,

if I try scrlk, it does the same thing, no beeps, I need to powercycle the switch to get it back up

I have the 1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Dual Monitor - Two Computer 10gbps
I am using a logitech g915

current solution is to put the keyboard adapter in the non-HID port, but I would like to not have that be the case
