KVM for a Steam Deck and Mini PC

I’ve got a Steam Deck. I’m going to be getting a Minisforum HX90G. I’d like to set up one keyboard, mouse, and display for these two machines. Display will be 1080p.

I’m not going to be doing anything fancy (no gaming) on the deck or HX90G, but I’d like to be able to have quick ability to switch between them. I have a dock already for my deck, it has a HDMI video output, and while the display I’m probably going to get is going to be 1080p 144hz, I don’t think I’m going to run it at anything above 90hz.

Should I spend the money on one of the level 1 KVM’s, or is there something less expensive I should consider first? I’m not opposed to spending that kind of money, but if there’s something less expensive that will serve my needs as well or better, I’d rather spend that money on something else. Deck is running Steam OS, the HX90G will be running KUbuntu.
