Does anyone know if the kraken g10 will work with the MSI 7950 twin frozr III? On NZXT's website they say non-reference cards will need the use of shims due to variations in die height.
It will most likely not work
Depends if you wanna just put it on and go, in that case no it most likely won't work. If you wanna research a bit and get the necessary hardware then yes it will work. If its temp issue try replacing the thermal compound on the GPU with some non conductive thermal paste like Article MX-4. It will easily knock a few degrees off your GPU. Gelid GC Extreme took my 270x full load temp from 74c to 62c. After I did this I no longer felt I needed a the kracken g10....
