Does anyone know if the kraken g10 will work with the MSI 7950 twin frozr III? On NZXT's website they say non-reference cards will need the use of shims due to variations in die height.
Yes if you have a 8 pin + 6 pin power connector its the HD 7970 PCB.

Also , I don't know if it will work , and why would you want to cool that card ? It has a really good cooler on it already.
I have the 7970 version, its fine at idle, but with the summer heat, its ramping up to 60% fan speed and really noisy.
So I too have been looking into g10 compatibility.
i have a black g10 band new ill sell for 25 shipped if ya want to try, i mounted on my msi gtx560 TF and ended up just building a new pc.
