Kraken 7.1 chroma or something else?

Hello,

I was looking for a new headset for pc gaming as I am finally fed up of the apple ones that came with my Iphone lol.

I was looking at the razer kraken 7.1 chroma. Would this be a good choice or is there some better for the same price of about 90 pounds.

surround sound headphones are a gimmick really. You dont need it, you have two speakers right beside your ears!

i use paletronics gamecon for about $30. they have 5.1 or 7.1 either or... amazing comfort and quality. razer you are paying for the name

i would recommend the hyperx cloud.
i have been using mine for just over a year now and they are my favorite by far
