Okay so when I used Fedora back in December and it was fine on my Intel laptop, but not for my desktop because of Catalyst not been supported anymore, anyways I wish to install Fedora or Korora on my new laptop but what are the AMD drivers like these days? Can they easily be installed.

You probably don't even need Catalyst these days, really. The open source drivers have been improving all over the place for past few months. It kinda depends on what hardware you have.
If your profile is up to date and you have a 6870, that is the best supported GPU by the open source driver right now.
