I’m a latecomer to Kodi but I’m hooked now! My movie/TV/music collection was a complete mess so I used Tiny Media Manager to organize, look up artwork & subtitles and rename my collection in a Kodi-compliant form before installing Kodi and it’s awesome now. I went a step further and installed the ‘Kanzi’ skill for Alexa so I can issue voice commands via my echo devices to navigate/play movies on Kodi. It takes quite a few steps, including hosting your own cache server or using an S3 bucket, but with a little patience it DOES work lol.
