Anyways i come from the console playing games like god of war and dynasty warriors. So far ive only played warface on pc and i have no idea what there is to play(btw i dont like warface at all). Any recommendations would help a ton. Its quite overwhelming at the moment.

here are some games to play.
Leauge of legends is a free MOBA game that has a steep learning curve but can be fun once you get into it.
Arma series is great but time consuming and again steep learning curve
skyrim, but im sure you have played that, but on pc the modding makes it stupid fun.
bastion is a great game that is not an AAA title but still tons of fun, and cheap.
counterstrike is the best pick up game out there, and it can be had for cheap!
TF2 another source game its F2P, and hours of fun.
portal 1 and 2.
hotline miami
Honestly if you just bought the valve complete pack that would be ideal, but you might want to wait till it goes on steam winter sale.

well there's black mesa, its free, also PC skyrim (mods mods mods), deus ex human revolution directors cut just came out. modded minecraft, also modded fallout 3 & new vegas. emulators. xcom enemy unknown. in my opinion devil may cry 5 is one of my fav games year, mostly for the combat. portal.
If you're into horror and if you aren't, Amnesia: the dark descent and the more recent Amnesia: a machine for pigs. both of them very scary i couldn't even bare to finish the first, playing the second one currently
if or if you haven't played half life 2 & episodes 1 & 2 there is also a mod called the cinematic mod that heavily improves the visuals that i would love to play personally but alas don't own any of those games, but have played and loved them all. i would just get the orange box.
