just my luck, just as the warranty on my q-pad mk 85 expired, most of the back lighting on the keyboard decided to start flickering and within a month gone off completely.
the numlock, caps lock and function led's on the top right corner are all still working but all the 1s back lighting the keys just wont come on at all now.
ive pulled the keyboard apart to see if there was any obvious signs of damage but nothing looks blown or burnt out.
i know the led's still work so im guessing the circuit that regulates the voltage has the issue...
im perfectly happy to de-solder any broken parts but i have no idea where to start or what might need replacing.
so what i wanna know is what do i need to test the board coz the keyboard wasn't cheap and q-pad are refusing to give any details on or how to repair it.
seemingly this is a common fault so any help would be appreciated.
