I come here today to seek a solution for a problem I encounter daily. The problem is that my keyboard (IBM M2) keeps sliding everywhere on the table I use (generic 6 foot picnic table that can fold away).
I am just wondering if there are any products or household products I can attach to the feet of my keyboard to stop the sliding!
Look for rubber anti slip pads/tape, it shouldn't be difficult to find them. Try your hardware store. You could also get some really fine grit sandpaper and lap the table (assuming its one of those plastic ones) to give it real texture and increase friction.
I will take this in to consideration, thanks. I think a family member has some sort of tape that could solve the problem but I haven't went to collect it yet.
If you want an easy to remove solution (should you ever change desks etc) corsair do some massive mouse mats, big enough to have both mouse and keyboard on, that could work and would look tidy
I did think about this as a looks/functionality think (several monitors at the time so lots of mouse movement) but my keyboard (k70) doesn't slide at all so I just got a slightly larger than standard mouse mat form corsair, the quality is good though and I presume the bigger ones are the same material
I have been thinking about buying a larger mouse mat because I do play a lot of FPS as well and I always seem to run out of surface. I might do this to kill 2 birds in one stone but might just use a cheaper solution for now until I have money I am not going to spend on other IT stuff.
