Keyboard Market

Hello people of TS

I have been looking for a good keyboard (i.e. mechanical) for a while now that offers me what I am looking for:
- MX Browns or other good mechanical switch
- solid build quality, metal case at best, hard plastic works too
- no background lighting (I find it unnecessary, though a lot of people like it)
- no number keys on the right side
- no extra function keys
- not too expensive (for me that's strictly under 100€, as a college student I do not have too much money to spare)

However even entry level mechanical keyboards have a lot of these things, for instance extra keys, background lighting. Why do you think is it that there is no offer at a reasonable price that cuts the extra features and just offers a keyboard with a good build quality and mechanical switches without the extra bloat? Is there no market for this kind of product? Would you buy it/prefer it over a keyboard that has features like RGB lighting and extra buttons? I find it unnecessary.
I found the Cherry MX-Board 3.0 with Browns for about 65 bucks and that looks to be my best bet so far. Does anyone know what else there is?

Similarly, I could not find a mouse that just offered me high dpi without additional buttons and light stuff. I did not look for one as much though as I did for the keyboard so this may not be a correct reflection of what's there to buy.

Thanks in advance for any responses, I would like to hear your opinion on this

Why don't you try the quickfire rapid-i??? It looks awsome in my opinion. Anyway I find that Massdrop has a very good selection of mech keyboards, so if you are from the US you should check it out.

The Rapid, besides being backlit, fits your description perfectly and you can adjust levels of brightness or turn lights off. I have the TK and really like it but Red switches are a bit lighter than I'd like.

Trust me the backlight comes in handy after the fourth beer

The CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-i would have been my choice also, if only it was available somewhere with a Nordic layout.

I ended up getting a Pok3r. And it is awesome. You might find a used one around 100€.

Yes the pok3r is awsome, I just got one with red switches and it's the best typing experience I've ever tried
