Alright, so I'm a Computer Science stucent and I was wondering what keyboard you guys would say is the best for coding. From what I'v read, I'm going to want to get something mechanical with the cherry blue switches. I'm left handed, so I get no bennofit to not having the side number pad. My budget is about $100; what do you guys recommend?
I would recommend a mechanical keyboard because it seems people with a mechanical keyboard type faster and maybe a few macro keys that have strings of code binded.

that last one is a fucking STEAL
This video has a good overview of 12 different mechanical keyboards that might help you decide which one you want.
This video is about the Metadot Das Ultimate in particular, which is a well regarded mechanical keyboard for typing and does have the blue switches.
We all watch the same videos on youtube, and we all look at the same keyboards on ebay haha. Question: I was going to buy that model M (last link) but what's with the RJ-11 attached to it? It looks like a damn phone cord :P
Get a Unicomp Classic or Unicomp Space Saver. It's a Model M except BNIB and comes with USB. If you want something silent...get a cherry mx brown board (I recommend the Coolermaster Quickfire Rapid because it's the same quality as a Filco but 1/2 the price or you could get a Rosewill mech kb...same shit).
