Kali...yes you can!

Eh. I just know that this Kali Linux trend is happening because of Mr. Robot. One one hand that show is making people aware of Linux and its advantages, so that's a positive outcome. But on the other hand we get things like these. People trying to live in some kind of hacker fantasy. But whatever floats your boat.

I got turned on too Kali when 3rd Mlg paid the back track guys too come and show us how to do stuff on it. I hate Mr. Robot. That is the dumbest show I've ever seen

Kali does offer tool that are helpful for many uses, but those tools are accessible on any distro, people just don't know much about them...

in Fedora it is indeed just dnf groupinstall "Security Lab" as root and it auto installs a lot of that software.

Yeah they might get it to boot off the USB but hell they won't know how any of the tools work or what they even do

Is that similar to https://pkgs.org/fedora-24/forensics-x86_64/

nope. Fedora has labs and one of them is the security lab fedora and you can install all these labs of Fedora in one system. https://labs.fedoraproject.org/ .

but that link consist of some "non-freeish" software and by rules of the Fedora community they won;t be allowed by default and you have to work with third party repo's.

Thanks, I didn't know about it !

I had to comment twice, because... WOW that is an amazing set of tool Thank you very much !!!!!!!!!

They were always inside Fedora, but the labs just bundle them up. Since most people don't know how many software there really is in Linux, but Security labs + Fedora is better as main then Kali, just to get back on the topic :p
