K70 LED type?

I got a K70 with MX Browns and red LEDs, and the keyboard is absolutely amazing. I love everything about it minus the LEDs and them not sending me a ribbed spacebar, which Corsair said they would send me in the mail.

So my first plan for the keyboard is to desolder the Numpad indicator LED and the WASD indicator light. That part's easy, but when I do plan to do that, I want to swap the LEDs with blue LEDs.

I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of LEDs I need to put in there? I'm assuming each LED is rated for a certain current and I'm sure the big fat LEDs you get from DIY kits are not going to cut it. The ones under the key caps look like a certain weird small LED I've never seen before.

Would definitely suggest you not do that. Usually, you need some sort of diagram of the keyboard along with all the necessary information (one of which is the type of LED you're asking for). Also, from what i know of, most of the time, you'll void the warranty of the product if you dissemble it. There's a blue LED version if you didn't know already

Man I am really hoping to get one of these keyboards specifically the K70 RGB Cherry mx brown with the old logo. Can anyone here find one? They're all out of stock.

assuming all you need is replacement LEDs for the MX switch it's a 3mm "flangeless" LED
