Got a plasma screen tv here that I eould like to fix. I haven't seen it myself but apparently there are lines in the screen. On an lcd that means the display is bad, on a plasma screen its the circuitry. Its from 2001, full of dust, and gets hot as herra. Any ideas on what I should do firt aside from removing dust?
Remove the dust with compressed air. If that doesn't work....toss it.
Plasma screens use highish voltages. A broken POS tv is not worth getting hurt over.
Well the circuit isn't built with super capacitors or nothin, it'll discharge over night. The problem is circuitry that can most likely be fixed. I'll dust it and start looking at schematics tomorrow. :3
