Just got my 5800x3D installed and immediately ran cinebench to just make sure the pc was running as intended. Well it’s like 10-20% slower than what I expected. I’ve updated the mother board bios and chipset drivers, but it still seems to be lagging a bit behind. Are there any specific bios settings that have to be enabled to get this processor performing better.
Any advise is appreciated.

We really need more specific information in what kind of tests,
or benchmarks you experience lacking performance.
Would be nice if you also could add some screens to the topic.
Also what gpu you have and which OS you run etc etc.
All vital information that will help analysing the problem.
As mentioned for an honest attempt to give any feedback or help, more information is needed:
What are the Cinebench (which version?) single-core and multi-core scores?
What temperature does the 5800X3D reach during the Cinebench runs?
The 5800X3D has a higher thermal density than a 5800X and is harder to cool.
Are you sure you didn’t compare your 5800X3D with a 5800X?
The 5800X doesn’t have 3D V-Cache which results in more available power for the CPU cores leading to higher boost frequencies eventually giving higher Cinebench scores.
Cinebench doesn’t profit from the additional cache like games for example do.
As I started to collect all the relevant info as asked I noticed another thread about the chipset drivers. After installing that problem solved. I appreciate the feedback and if I ever have another issue I’ll be more thorough with the initial documentation.
