So my 7950 crapped out on me (guess that's what I get for buying the cheapest one), I picked up a GTX 960 because it's around the same price that I payed for my 7950. It's my first Nvidia GPU because I really want to have decent Linux support. Now that I have a GPU that allows me to game on Linux, does anyone know how well this thing performs with games under Wine? I know it varies from program to program, but I just mean your experiences in general.
Can't really comment I have a gtx 970 ftw but that card runs pretty good in the wine games I play( Leauge of legends, Elder Scrolls online). I will have to say you will probably have much better support on the Native Linux games that you can get off of steam it should be an all around better experience.
Games using opengl work really well. Directx 9 games that run seem good, games that require newer versions of directx seem more hit and miss.
