Juniper acx2100

my isp issued me the acx2100 as the fiber handoff of a residential “metro-e” circuit
they assigned 2 ports
1 sfp+ 2gbs
1 ethernet 1 gbs

currently, i have the sfp+ connected to a nighthawk xr700 with the sfp+ as the wan port

my second 1gbs has been unused

to get more than 1 gbs to my computer i bought a mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN

i used 2 ethernet with link aggregate from the nighthawk to the mikrotik and then ran mm fiber to a 10gb sfp+ nic in my pc

this was the only setup that i could think of at the time but have been planning on doing a pfsense build that would handle the two wan connections and either balance or route them to my home network

evertime i pass the juniper i see all those ports and wonder if the only reason my isp suggest a home network router with the service is because the juniper is too complicated for home users?

if anyone could let me know if the juniper is capable of being the network router or should i still plan on doing a pfsense build…

ACX 2100 doesn’t do stateful NAT, which I’m assuming you would need.
