Jobs and Pays with a Computer Science degree

I am really enjoying learning coding and want to become a programmer in the future, but i dont have the luxury to to get a job i enjoy and risk getting paid little or worse not getting a job because my parents dont have a stable job, so they will have to rely on me to look after them and myself?

So my question is, will i be able to get a job that has an avarage pay if i get a CS degree?

CS graduates generally get paid pretty well, but I would say not as well as they should.

I'm assuming that you're from the United States: http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Degree=Bachelor_of_Science_(BS_%2F_BSc),_Computer_Science_(CS)/Salary
