That's pretty cool project!

AND more of the teardown

nice Cherokee,
we had one like this for my Horse trailer, it was a very good car.
Tobad that the gearbox failed at a certain point, cause it was a good buddy.

Another ZJ! I've had 2 of those (well I still sorta have both but my Dad now has the first one)

Mines a little further along. It was a 94 Laredo but I have a full Limited interior now.

Cool project. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Battery died what red tops would you recommend

Mines better

its cute

I use normal batteries myself. I like the NAPA 75 month warranty ones as I have had very good luck with them in all of my vehicles. Avoid Delco's.

Well i have some up dates for you guys windshields are not easy to remove and sawsalls are fun and rear windows are now shards we didn't really get the removal idea down but here is some pics

work tents are a great thing

Can't wait to see the end result of this one!

Well this is awesome. Going to swap in a diesel engine or just leave the original?

we are looking at the vengeance motor http://www.vengeancepower.com/
but if we cant get it we are going to run the original till it dies then drop in a diesel

Wickedly cool. I look forward to more and more about what you do with that motor if you get it in the end.

Cool project, just remember the zj is a unibody design so some stiffeners and lot of tie ins for the cage will keep it from flexing like a wet noodle.

Make sure you support the center of the Jeep when you start building the roll cage. The unibody will have probably sagged almost 2" by cutting off the roof.

We looked its sagged but whats awesome if my friend who is doing the welding had already accounted for the sag so woooo

Sorry for no update in a while been stuck moving and stuff we just got a lot of steel welded my camera is poop so no pics just yet but soon

aah tobad,
Anyway looking forward to see more of this interessting project.
