Haha yeah, I figured this would be right up your alley Logan. I just recently rediscovered Borknagar through a blog, and I remember I heard them way back in the Quintessence days. But I've been downloading alot more of their new stuff and I love them still.... But over the past year I've been listening to more and more death metal and deathcore just because I've been pissed off about everything and now I'm just generally relaxed and I'm back into my good old black metal.
I need some recommended bands too. I like *Lighter* Melodic Metal. Clear vocals preferred.
What about Blind Gaurdian, Battlelore, and Manowar, Dewality?
And not AS mellow... But Elvenking.
