Issues with my 4670k or at least im assuming it is

I built a Computer.

alot of the time my Computer has a Hiccup. where if im multi-tasking with 6 or 7 windows 2 of the windows say not responding. my computer freezes for a couple of seconds. and then it goes back to normal. maybe cause i put to little of thermal paste on the CPU?

anyway to fix this?

Your processor and RAM should handle that kind of multi-tasking quite smoothly. It depends if each of those several windows is particularly demanding. Can you open task manager and tell me what the component usage is?

this is also with a game open btw

Well that usage seems normal. Can you tell me what specific OS you are running? What -bit? Just a gut feeling.

All seems normal to me. I don't think it is a hardware problem, probably something in your OS environment. It's a small hiccup, I am sure you can live with. It's not a big deal. It will probably cease from happening after you do some monthly PC maintenance, with OS reinstall et cetera.

I guess. its more noticeable when i'm gaming thats' about it. thanks anyways though.
