Issue with new GPU

Morning afternoon evening

I wonder if anyone can help before throw all my hardware out the window

I was having issue my new graphics card so bought a new motherboard (MSI GAMING 7 z97) and new cpu (i7 4790k) and now I can't get anything to post. Power supply working tried un plug everything replug back Have not attached a cooler got no error codes on the reader. The fans are turning on the led our coming but no post.

Make sure all your components are properly connected and snug - especially your RAM if you're not posting.

You.. ran the PC without a Heatsink?

To my knowledge modern cpu's can't run for even a few seconds without one. Sure hope it didn't melt immediately before it could shut itself off.
