Issue with KVM and HP G4 Dock

KVM Model:

PAAG-ET3122B

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

10-gigabit

Problem:

My setup is as follows, gaming PC to a Samsung Odessey G7 (1440p240) and a Dell U2518D (1440p60). With my gaming PC, both monitors run great through the KVM. I also have a work laptop, an HP Elitebook 840 G6 connected to the aforementioned monitors through the KVM via a HP USB C G4 docking station. The Dell monitor works fine, but the Samsung doesn’t receive a signal. Laptop is Windows 10 and in display settings, the Samsung is “disconnected”. When I attempt to extend my desktop to this monitor, it fails to do so and stays “disconnected”. I can see my Samsung monitor cycling on and off as the backlight turns on/off, but it doesn’t display anything.

Other Notes:

I’m using CableMatters DP 2.1 cables to connect G4 docking station to KVM for the Samsung monitor.
Amazon.com: Cable Matters [VESA Certified] 80Gbps DisplayPort 2.1 Cable - 3.3ft / 1m, DP80 Cable with 16K 60Hz, 8K 240Hz, 4K 240Hz, FreeSync, G-SYNC and HDR for Gaming Monitor, PC, RTX 4080/4090, RX 7900, Black : Electronics

EDIT: Another note, I tried connecting the Samsung directly to the USB C dock without the KVM and it still didn’t work. Seems to indicate that the dock is the issue. I recall not being able to connect two DisplayPort monitors to this dock in the past. Is using a HDMI to DisplayPort cable with the KVM a bad idea? So it would be from USB C dock to KVM, one DP, and one HDMI > DP cable.

It can be tricky, just make sure you get a good one:

Okay. Would getting a different USB C dock be a better idea?
