On a side note: When I opened it up, there were these "dual sided tapes" things touching the cooler and the memory. What a cheap way of cooling the memory. I just threw those away and added my thermal paste.
I'll edit this when I see the temperatures on full load.
Does water-cooling or installing a third party cooling solution on my video card void the warranty?
Answer / Solution
Installing third party cooling solutions does not void warranty on our products. Just be sure to keep the original cooling solution as it will have to be on the card if it is ever sent in for RMA. Any physical damage such as burn marks or damaged PCB will void ALL warranties."
I guess if you put your own thermal grease they wouldnt know, unless you did it to the memory.. then you'd have to put the pads back on i guess.
