Is this real life or is this fantasy
GTX 970 reference card overclockers uk
To Be Honest that would kinda be a Collectors Item.
considering a General Consumer CANNOT get a Reference Model of that Card. and some OEMs have to Make an Unofficial "Reference Model" so that the General Public can get their hands on it
I knew it. Too good to be true. Unofficial "Reference model" like the one is overclockers uk.
Its just fantasy, Caught in a landslide, No escape from reality...
not necessarily. if you can buy it on Newegg and it clearly states Developed by NVIDIA then i don't see how it couldn't be legit. if i had the money i'd buy it. cause honestly the general consumer will never truly be able to own a Real Reference Model of that Card.
I see BUT sadly I live in Hong Kong and newegg doesn't ship to HK. so yea
I think he's talking about the price. 353 vs. 500 in USD. Nearly 90 british pounds difference + vat.
nah wasn't talking about the price. Was talking about the reference card.
my question lies why would anyone want gpu as "collectors item" ? someone must be really ... really... there are far better things to collect.
Sorry, but if I was to collect something, I want it to scream 'collector' or at least have some defining features...
For instance, that looks nice.
Still not sure why would a card or something new be a collectors item. I understand getting 286, 386, 486 CPU or really old motherboard. I can understand that... but new GPUs? come on... I hope nvidia is building them for performance and quality not as collectors item... if they do - then i believe nv is going wrong way.
As Kat said
"considering a General Consumer CANNOT get a Reference Model of that Card. and some OEMs have to Make an Unofficial "Reference Model" so that the General Public can get their hands on it"
Just in-case you don't get it its an Reference model card.
still a gimped gpu is gimped gpu... why would general public want to touch such travesty upon them.
