Is this pc good for gaming and rendering videos?

Planning on rendering and gaming on this pc. I saw this exact pc on ibuypower but i went to pc part picker and put all of the parts there and it came out $300 cheaper! I plan on recording and playing gta v, bf4,crysis 3 on it and render it at 720p!! Thanks =D

render it at 1080p. it'll do it quite well

This would be a much better set up http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1wxci

the i7 is nice but you can only oc on z77 and z87 chipsets so the water cooler is not needed. if your goin to stay at stock  your build could look more like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1wxD9    The use of an ssd should help your fps in games when your recording but it will be a big help with rendering. If you dont go for an ssd you atleast want 2HD's one to run you os/game and one to record on.

ps that msi 970 mb supports sli at 8x,8x but only has usb 3 on the i/o no front header altho the zalmam 9 does not have usb 3

I am sorry to say it, but the build is very unbalanced, and like stated above, the CPU cooler is a complete waste on that motherboard because it cant overclock. It is just designed to be cheap and functional. Also, if you are planning on GPU rendering, then your system would want to have a much more powerful graphics and you dont need that powerful of a CPU.

For gaming, you could use a much cheaper AMD 8350 with a 7970 for the same money.

Anyway, I put this together for you.

If you are a nvidia fan, then I would recommend the GTX 760 4gb, but the 7970 is a better card for the same price.
