CPU: Intel core i3-2100 $116
Motherboard: Asrock H71M-DGS $69
Graphics Card: Asus Radeon HD 7750 1GB $161
RAM: 1600 Corsair Vengeance 8gb kit (4gb x 2) $61
Case: Gigabyte GZ-MK01 $53
Power Supply: Antec 550W $72
HDD: Seagate 500gb $68
Total: $600
I wanna build a $600 gaming pc and I dun wanna buy it online because i dun noe how to build one myself. Please tell me what you think about these parts. I dun noe if everything will fit inside the case or the power supply is good enuf.
I'd still reccomend the i3 you chose with a cheaper motherboard and better video card, like a 7850/7870. Nvidia doesn't seem worth it for the price range.

Maybe you could get away with a cheaper motherboard and keep it 600$. Still, heed my call:
You could try this, it would be better overall, not that much as far as the processor goes. But the ample power supply will let you upgrade to an FX 8350 and crossfire later, if you intend to keep it. Also, there is better ram, but for gaming, that's fine, maybe you could get something with a higher clock speed for around the same price, it's your call. Try corsair xms not vengenace, same deal with a different hat.
Any path you go, remember that the video card is the most important part of all, and you should base your search off that criteria (your game benchmarks better on which card? is the card good value - bang for buck?).
First of all, where did you find such expensive memory? Try finding some G.Skill or maybe Kingstons at your computer part store and see if they are cheaper. I've looked around my local store and online, and I can't find Corsair Vengence that expensive. If you can find some cheaper memory, put that extra cash into the video card. Second, that rig looks like it will run Crysis 2 just fine. Just a recommendation, you can get an A8-5600k/FX-4300 for a similiar price as your i3 and it has better performance than the i3 as well as being Quad-Core. Since you already have a dedicated video card in your list, you don't need to find any of that 1866(5600k) memory.
can they fit inside the case?
I would recommend you changing to a i5 and spend a little more money on the video card...
You might want to check out this site... maybe you can adjust your specs...

Yes, they will most likely fit inside your case.
You could run Crysis 1 on dual Pentium 3s and a 9800 pro, even better with a better gfx card (clearly shows how good multithreading is in that game).
i5s are more expensive than his original budget, what I reccomended is good, with a few tweaks, such as his preffered case (though antec 300 is great), his psu and memory of choice in that budget (you can go with value ram (or corsair xms3, cheaper than vengenace) and still have a fast stable system, you don't need heatspreaders in fact). I'm not sure if it's a better choice for the system's future to go with i3 since it's dual core and you'd only see a real improvement from the coming CPU series, which will be a different platform, so bad upgrade path, unlike AMDs longevive platforms.
The configuration you've come up with will slow to a crawl in Crysis 2. You might be able to play it, but you're going to be running low settings.
Do you mean letmesnipeyou, mine or the Novasty's?
If it's the APU you're talking about, yes it's not very good for heavier games, but can handle lighter and earlier games with decency, unlike most integrated graphics even today, after a huge leap from terrible to not so very terrible.
I don't see any problem with my build, though you could get lucky with an earlier cpu and overclock that, though for crysis you'd better spend more money on the video card (listen to me, even the slightest upgrade makes a difference in new games and video cards, I wouldn't spend money on enthusiast cards or upgrade to just a 10-20% increase in framerate, it would mean your paying dollars per frame, this ripping off will get you extra old parts and a hole in your pocket).
I repeat, look at my sugestion and change it to your liking, you can't fit an i5 for gaming in his budget.
total shipped 611
my friend played the crysis 3 beta on max with a 2120 and 560SE, the CPU is a bit more powerful and the GPU is way more powerful so you should be fine
Psu- Antec Neo Eco 520 (yes its enough and solid) .....................................................................................$55
Ram-Samsung 2x4gb MV-3V4G3D/US (Will OC to 1866 CAS 9 or 2133 CAS 10)..........................$45
GPU- Saphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz edition..................................................................................$210
Replace with these parts, Use everything else you have listed.
Total........616
You should have absolutely no problem running crysis 2 1080p on high (maybe a couple settings a notch down)
Happy Building!
lol, I didnt see Gigabusters build, I like it too.
