Is this mobo any good?

Well because i'm doing a themed build i tryed to get a black and grey mobo but with z87 you can't get anything like that :( and this was the best i could find http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128592&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= that didn't have those ugly gold things like on the asrock boards, so i was wondering since i'm getting a h100i would i have a problem with this board? i know this isn't the best board but i like it alot since it somewhat goes with the colour scheme of it all.

This is a good board, it has all the features you need and more. Gigabyte has a good line of boards and they have a nice price to performance ratio. I hope this helps and good luck on your build.

I wish the z87 sabertooth board wasn't so damn overpriced then i would get that since it goes with my black and grey build a little better :L

Lol, sabertooths are awesome but exspensive. But they are built to last and the LONG warrenty is pretty cool.

The sad thing is i'm considering the board just for how it will look in my build.... god damn  i'm weak...

Cheaper one. The second link is to a review of many 1150 mobos and they claim that this one is good for the price.

In the conclusion: "There's also plenty of choice in the 100-150 euro segment of Haswell motherboards. The MSI Z87-G45 Gaming has already been mentioned twice, it has excellent features and a relatively sharp price.

Based on its specs, the ASRock Z87M Extreme4 could be a good choice for about 135 euros, but its low performance and high energy consumption, likely due to the BIOS, are unfortunate.

The Gigabyte Z87-D3HP is our favorite in this price segment. It's the only board with Intel LAN for less than 130 euros, has good features, performs fine and comes with the Full HD BIOS. The 10 extra euros compared to the Gigabyte Z87-HD3 are worth it due to the lower power usage and the Intel network card. The ASUS Z87-K and MSI Z87-G43 are good runner-ups."

i would look at the msi G45 or GD 65 gaming boards. nice feutures. and a good price.

if you want to spend more money, in the price range of the sabertooth, then i would personaly go for the Msi Z87 Mpower. cheaper and nicer feutured.
