Hey, just bought a new case and while switching out all the components, i noticed the grounding contacts of my motherboard screw-holes (for lack of a better name) are beginning to degrade & disappear because i have switched out cases with this motherboard so many times.
Will this cause me any issues? Present or future?
Over the years i have been using this type of screw to mount my mobo. Its pretty obvious from looking at the bottom surface of the flange what was actually causing the damage:
Perhaps it will be wiser to switch over to this kind of screw instead in order to prevent damage? Or will there be no need to?
Thanks
