Is this a good system for the $$$?

Hey everyone! Im new here to this forum but I decided to post this so I could figure out if my rig id like to build is really worth the money and will perform good.

Im not attempting to create a computer for hardcore stuff. It will be everyday uses and gaming :)

Your guys help and input and suggestion of better parts for the money would be appreciated! Thanks!

TOTAL: $564.94

So here we go.

HD: 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda 500GB

Optics: Idk.. some CD-RW I had laying around

Power supply:

OCZ Technologry

MODEL NO# OCZGXS700

Is it safe to use this? Its 700W but its not manufactured anymore.. So im a little iffy about using this old PSU

RAM:

Case:

CPU:

GPU:

Motherboard:

SORRY! I linked the CPU twice! Heres the RAM I was looking at.

Looks great, nothing for me to notice here.

I think you should try going for a 7870 instead of a 7850.

He could probably overclock the 7850 to equal, if not better perfromance than the 7870.

Well looking.. an HIS 7870 is only $10.00 more after a discount and a $10.00 mail in rebate. So I may do that..

what brand is the psu?

I dont event think they make them anymore? lol

/edit   I have put a load on it (HD) and jumped it with some wire jumpers. It turned on and stayed on for 10 minutes.. Now wether or not I am getting the full 700W out of it. Idk... Im kind of scared it may dip down and not give the system what it needs and starve the thing.
