Is this a good PSU?

It's on sale and it's what I want but I'm worried about reviews and such.

Also would it be good for a FX-8350, Sapphire 7970ghz edition, asrock extreme9 990fx mobo, and another future 7970 if possible?

No, not really. Pretty crappy build quality, and very expensive for what you're getting. Also, it is 200W too much for your system. If you really wanted to be safe, then get a 650W PSU. If you are going to be going dual 7970s, 650W will still be plenty. DO NOT get any more than 650W for 2-way CF. You will want more than 80+ Bronze; for just a little bit more, I would buy a 650W Seasonic Platinum PSU, which is rated at 80+ Platinum efficiency. Much better build-quality, and very efficient.

Im on a budget. don't wanta to spend more than 100 if I don't have to.

Rosewill Capstone 650 M; fantastic PSU for the price. Also, a Seasonic G 550W should be under $100 (around $90), and would fit your system perfectly.

This is what it will be exactly, of course without PSU atm.

champ "do not get any more than 650w for CF". i want what you're smoking. a single 7970 requires as stated by amd & msi and all the other manufacures a minimum of 500w and 30a on the 12v rail....for just a single card........ add to that a 8350 - one of the most power hungry chips around. then crossfire later on..

op you want a psu with enough headroom for CF that the psu wont sound like a angle grinder with the coil whine under load. even a top shelf 600w seasonic unit will be running well over it effciency point into a zone where the intregity of the internals will be nearing their limit.

something like this would be better (even then its a stretch as when you overclock 7970's the power consumption goes through the roof!):

these units are re-branded seasonic units at a fraction of the cost.

thanks
