Does that sale expire before you can check out tomorrow's deals?
Also, I'm hearing good things about the Samsung SSDs, so this is definitely a good deal in my opinion.
Samsung drives are excellent. However, the 120GB non-pro 840 is a bit pants, in my opinion. Quality-wise it is good and reliable - but not as fast as this similarly priced drive:
The top end Samsungs like the 256GB pro are hard to beat. It is said that Samsung drives are the fastest, currently. But they are beaten at this price point.
If you look at the read and write speeds, and the random 4k writes, you will see the Kingston is quite favourable.
I don't know, i'm debating on getting an SSD or a headset.
Edit: I bought a 3 terabyte HD a few days back but i'm torn between the SSD and the headset because i'm going to be making videos and voice sound quality is always a plus. But on the other hand, Boot up times are really nice :/ DAMN YOU SALES!!
Those ADATAs pack a pretty good punch, too, in my experience with my SP900.
With regards to buying an SSD or headset, is this a new computer that you're building? Because it would be annoying to install windows on that 3TB HDD only to install it again on an SSD.
Depends on the quality of the headset. Depends what you plan, or need to place on the SSD. Many things have to be considered.
I would pick the SSD over a < $50 headset, personally. But a really high quality headset would beat the SSD. This is because the price of SSDs are continually falling, and a good headset is a good headset :P
