hey tek syndicate, i'm getting a Samsung S27B550V 27" monitor, I only have about $300 and I was wondering if you guys have any other suggestions for me, I'm going to be using this monitor mostly for my ps3 so i would like a monitor that doesn't have ghosting or a bad quality image.
many people seem to recommend monitors with IPS or PLS panels, but some of these have slower response times than most TN panels which is why many monitors have TN panels, TN panels are also cheaper to produce and because of that also cheaper to buy,
personally i have never seen a PLS or IPS panel so i dont really know if they are that much better, seach on youtube for IPS or PLS and see what pops up, i think if you want something average and relativly cheap just but a TN panel
